    avi to dvd

    anyone know where i can get some free software to convert avi to dvd format? without it having demo wrote across the middle of the screen :mad:

    when i do it i use canopus procoder but no one else seems to, i think they most use dvd santa and winavi and the likes of tmpgenc

    How long does this take to encode each one into a diff format?

    Ive got 40 gig of porn that needs putting on dvd.

    all depends on the quality you encode at and the power of your pc. it took e 8 hours to encode lord of the rings the return of the king to a dvd at master copy quality using a p4 3.2ghz pc

    I tried to do pirates xxx using tmpgenc and it wouldn't recognise the file type (avi). :mad:

    Anything to reccomend?

    :up: it's what i use. Plus, if they're DivX format (i.e. lost, prison break, etc) off the internet, stick lots of chapters in to get around the 'sound out of sync' problem
