auto start up

    auto start up

    ive got a program that needs to auto start the second the pc is switched on, wheni look in the startup list theres a mark for it there but it aint starting, how does one manually enter the details for it to auto boot up?

    google win.ini.. fairly sure you have to edit that...

    Its defo an ini file you edit...

    nah not with vista. apparently its as easy as dragging exe files into the startup folder

    you do the same with XP...drag a shortcut into the Startup folder, that's it

    However, it wont start immediately, you will have to log on first and other stuff will start before it
