    auto load .html file when cd inserted

    Im making a CD for my work which uses a html page as the navigation interface

    how do i get it so the html file automatically loads when the cd is inserted....like when you insert an installation disc and the installation programme automatically loads??

    there's a little program you can download that'll you can specify a .exe to run (ie for example) and pass it parameters (like the name of the html file)

    i had to do 1 a few years ago. hang on, i'll google for the proggy

    Do you not need a autorun.ini file or something similar?

    create a new text file and save it in the CD root directory as "autorun.inf"

    within it have simply...

    [autorun]
    open=whateverpage.html

    try that, see what happens.
