audio sampling ive got a film on the comp and want to sample some audio from it, its in divx at the mo. is there any progs that can sample part of the audiio stream from it, ive tried sound forge but it wont work.
to record sound thats playing, on your pc you need a full duplex sound card. Otherwise, get a program for extracting the audio from files think theres some on download.com
you geekyness has failed you, total recorder wont support divx streams you need to end your life ninja style just without the sharpness. strangle yourself with a mouse cord
sound forge crashes once its loaded the clip ill just re edit the git in canopus and split the streams apart.
do you have a full duplex sound card? cause if you do you can just play the file on your pc, in windows media or something, open sound forge and press record and it will record whats playing.
id have thought id be able to do that, cos im sure ive done it before. my sound card is a sound blaster audigy 2 zs, not sure if its full duplex
Bullshit.. It records whatever some out the speakers.. DIVX is the video codec... it can use many audio codecs.. mainly AC3 is used.. and total recorder supports AC3. I use a wireless mouse and keyboard
yeah your sound card is full duplex, make sure though on your sound card mixer, your 'record what you hear' is selected on the record part.
it should be the fader on the far right, there should be a little sign under it click on that and a menu should appear
