    audio rippers

    Im trying to rip mixes off sites but i dont know what program i need to use...

    Ianmc was using a program to do the SVD mixes a while back

    Is there a version for mac? if so what is it?

    i know there is a winamp plugin called streamripper....thats about as far as my knowledge on the topic goes.

    audacity will do it, just open it and press record and play the music on the net and it will record.

    I use soundforge myself, but don't think you can get it for mac.

    Also you may find that it won't record the sound, reason being some soundcards, you need to open up the mixer and tell it what to record i.e line in, what u hear, mic etc etc....

    Records whatever comes through your speakers.
