Audio Cable i'm getting a few Phono to 3.5mm Stereo Jack Lead's tommorow and have been told that if you get anything over 1.5m that it seriously compromises the quality of sound? is this true? just a double check really like, i told them to fuck off and have a word.
Re: Re: Audio Cable yeah that's what i thought, might go the whole hog this weekend and get all new gold plate cables jacks for my whole system, the clarity and feedback reduction - especially with DJ kit is really noticable. plus i know someone selling them cheap
Get them from Richer Sounds - Lifetime guarantee even if you lose the receipt. Gold plated wires and all that... £10! Edit: I think its guaranteed without the receipt only if you use Cambridge Audio stuff, cos Richer Sounds are the only stockists (I know this is true of the Leeds store)
complete and utter bull. As long as the cable and connectors are of a decent quality you shouldn't have any issues. You only have signal loss issues once the cable gets ridiculously long (with data cables its around 85-100 metres, I'd imagine audio is something similar.) richer sounds for the win. cable universe is worth checking out too.
