I know i've sort of touched on this idea before - however i've got all my gear back and it's working so i can actually sort of create some kind of artistic output (?)

my idea was to create some kind of broad genre'd cast made up of a number of different mini-mixes which could be submitted to me and then i could work some computer wizardry and mix them all together as a sort of a 'Nucastle Yearmix'? (the name obviously can be worked upon). either that or get soundbytes done and have them inserted within the gaps in the mixes. (i.e some proper cheesy bloke giving it the heave-ho with the artist name)

anyone who's interested say on here and we can iron out details, get a number of people who are going to do it and work out mini-mix durations.

genre is not strictly limited, however anything more than 160bpm might be a bit much (unless there is specific interest or numbers who want to chuck out a bit UK hardcore )

no bother bridster, can you stickey this in the genral discussion bit for a week so i can get some decent numbers?

the bottom of the board has been a dark place recently

i think i'll set a 4 track limit, however it's going to be mad to mix - i'll have to set a Bpm start and end as well if it's going to mix smoothly.

other than that - i'll use the vocal talents of wor adam for breaks inbetween. possibly an odd advert for wall's sausage or hovis bread buns

An audio voiceover on the podcasts is a class idea actually, especially if its funny.

Right people, less than a week to show interest on this, going to wait till friday until i start sorting out how long people have to playfor and working out BPM's and stuff.

What are people normally playing at these days?
