    Asus A7N8X Deluxe XP3200+ Support?

I've currently got a Asus A7N8X REV 1.xx Board.. I am aware that the Rev 2.xx boards support 400 FSB but as I've just flashed my BIOS do ya think my board will support up to this speed?

In the BIOS it does say that the FSB can be clocked up to 300 (Thoretical 600 FSB) but I just wanna make sure b4 I buy a 3200+ chip..

    Thanks for any replies..

www.hexus.net have decent forums for that sort of thing
but I reckon you def will be able to run a 3200XP if it says it'll support upto 300/600

After days of research I finally found out that my board will run a 3200+.

The ASUS Motherboard must be a model using PCB 1.04 or upwards and the BIOS must be 1004 or more.

However I have found that even though my board will support 200FSB I cannot run my memory at DDR400 at the same time for stability reasons, it is recommended that I run it at DDR333.

Through some overclocking of the chip I have at the moment I have found that the memory will run effectively up to 197Mhz (394 DDR) while running 200FSB. Incidently I've managed to overclock my CPU (XP2100+ @1.73) up to 2.07Ghz.. (Wroughly 2700+ speeds..)

Thanks for pointing out that forum... right now I gotta think about watercooling.... :D
