Armin - Shivers taken to bits by the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/dance/reviews/armin_shivers.shtml#comment pretty fair review, although the point is completely missed as Armin once used to be able to pop out corkers for fun like Blue Fear, Communication and his remixes like Time is the Healer and Sky Falls down.
I'll wait until I hear it, but tbf, can you really have ground-breaking trance anymore? Where exactly do you go? Aslong as the vocals aren't as bad as Burned With Desire:laugh:I'll probably like it
I think Tiesto / PVD / Armin etc etc should all stop trying to write 'songs' .... which nine times out of ten sound like they should be included on albums with Las Ketchup, Whigfield and S-Express. By all means stick with what you know, but non english native speakers have a hard time trying to succeed writing english language tunes... i think.
to be fair, so are most producers at the minute. PVD, Mark Norman, Probspot, Marcos etc etc, nothing that sticks out from the rest. Wish we could go back in time back to 99/2000
I hated 99/2000 trance - Much prefer modern day stuff. Less anthems. more variation and more pure/minimal tunes. Let the past be the past
