ARMIN for Promise - Who Wants Him?? Come on........ We need some kind of campaign for this. Id gladly pay 15-20 quid entry if Promise had Armin Van Buuren on. Arguably one of the greatest, if not THE greatest thing in trance right now as far as DJ'ing AND Producing goes - Something maybe only PVD can do right now as being good at the two at the same time. Only those skanky chicken headed puffs at Crasher seem to get him these days as far as northern clubs are concerned - That aint fair eh! Show your support - ARMIN VAN BUUREN FOR PROMISE!!!!!!!!
YEAH!!! We want Armin!! We want Armin!!! I really really want to see Armin at Promise. He kicks ass completely!! I would happily pay more aswell. PLEEEEASE Mark!!! get Armin!
t would be good, but he wouldnt be top of my list. Jon O'Bir or hardwick can do the same job (if not better). If we are talking getting a BIG name to Promise, i would say Tiesto again. 4 hour set. Prog through trance. Or Paul Van Dyk again. there are more exciting Djs around IMO. But still, it would be better than jules and john kelly...
PVD would be good eh - but he's a bit of the "Man United" selection when it comes to trance dj's ..... Armin's never played Prom tho
yea, armins fucking mint!!! id deffo pay 20 quid or so to get in if he was playing like, as im sure most people would, cumonnnnn!
I think "again" being the prominant word there. Why continue to repeat acts when we need change?? Id rather see Armin than Hardwick atm. Ive seen Hardwick loads recently. I love him, hes real good, but so is Armin and I havent seen him as much.
im just not too fussed about armin. you could book Solar Stone, Jon O'Bir and Les Hemstock all on the same night for less money. Which is alot of change, and wouldbe more exciting that armin. If your gonna spend that amount of cash, just get god. (tiesto/me )
I love ur confidence Revel! I understand wot ur saying, but I dont agree. my head is too mashed to put up an arguement tho. :spangled:
Re: ARMIN for Promise - Who Wants Him?? A lot of the more "serious" (for want of a better word) clubbers would pay extra but I doubt your average joe public would. I'd imagine that bloke would cost a lot to book and as Revel said, there are a lot of DJs that could do just as good a job.
Re: Re: ARMIN for Promise - Who Wants Him?? Do u not think there wud be enuf "serious" clubbers to pay slightly more even if the average clubber wudnt anyway???? I think there poss cud be. How often has he played in the NE recently??? And its not like hes not up there in the popularity contest. I still WANT him!!!!
Well.... if armin cost 2-3 grand more than the average "supah-star" - then surely thats only 2-3 more quid on top of the door fee..... Having not ever ran a club im not sure of that.... but how much can he cost
Re: Re: Re: ARMIN for Promise - Who Wants Him?? Honestly.......no! If you look at the average Promise crowd, I would say 75% of the people that go aren't "serious" clubbers. On the other hand, I'm sure more "serious" clubbers would travel to see AVB.
Exactly - O'Bir, Hemstock, Solarstone, Hardwick, Bond etc ALL better than Van Buuren in my opinion.... Cant see why ppl shud have to pay extra to see someone who isnt THAT good... He is good, dont get me wrong, but by no means does he justify charging ppl more etc... Prob be shot down for sayin that by the Armin fans, but to be honest, couldnt give a damm Wouldnt not go if he was playing - but no was is he the greatest....not by long shot
