    Are Sony MDR-V700's fixable?

Right ... a while ago my bastard headphones cracked and after taking them apart yesterday - im left with a single cup and a lead coming off it as my only means of monitoring LOL

Anyways, i think the cable was split and the connection bust inside the hinge. Ive tried re attaching the wires together after cutting them and recleaning the connections but that doesnt seem to be bringing the other headphone to life.

Is this a lost cause, or is there any place/way i can fix these buggering things up. I'm a bit wary of spending another ton on a pair of headphones !!!!!!

    Help!

Normally, if they were still in warrenty, u could send them back to Sony for repair, their service number is : 020 8283 2700.

BUT if you've tampered with it.... nee warranty repairs!!

I might buy a 20 quid pair of Senheisers .... either that or its another trip to the sperm / kidney / blood bank or liver donation ward.

Send them back anyways. A guy on the meganite board did and they replaced them no bother. You've got nothing to loose! :)
