    Spyware Aftermath

    Updated adaware the other day and it found some new stuff.

    One of these was an actual process/program, not just a registry value.

    I assume it would have started on startup, because I am now getting the "failed to load <program>.dll" error message.

    I have looked at my startup folder and there is nothing suspicious there....

    where else can I look to see what is trying to load itself?

    Cheers.

    u can also use msconfig.

    type msconfig from dos prompt of from run box...

    u can see whats loaded at startup in the startup section...n stop whatever u want bein loaded....dont stop it if u dont know wot it is tho ;)

    Start -> run -> msconfig

    Go to the startup tab there.

    You really should get out of the habit of skipping straight to the end of threads mate :lol:
