APR16 : Oli Faulkner (Sugarshack/WeLoveSpace) Teenagers normally spend there time popping spots, hanging around on street corners and drinking nasty cider. But this wasn't the case for the 16th show's special Guest. At the tender age of 17, Oli Faulkner, was asked by Paul Oakenfold to mix one of his records for him in front of 2000 people. I guess you could say that's a fairly good place to start for a budding DJ! From there on, Oli knew that DJ'ing was going to play a major part in his life.. Over the years he has picked up many an accolade, winning Radio 1's "best resident DJ" competition was a highlight, as was being named the "best thing to come out of Middlesbrough since Chris Rea!".. A residency at the prestigious Sugarshack in Middlesbrough has been Oli's base point for his musical sermons, from which he has gone in many a direction and played along pretty much every big gun in the business. However, the climax (so far) surely has to be being named as a "We Love" resident on the world renowned Terrace at Space in Ibiza. ..So there it is, an insight into the life of a bright young star..
