Im filling out an application form for quite a big company and im stuck on a question.

'Please tell us what has motivated you to apply for this job?'

I know i cant write 'Money' and im proper stuck. Its a shite job but its good pay.

Anyone help?

Good company ethics, job satisfaction all that rubbish!

Just write 'money'.

Luxembourg.

i used to go on baccy runs to luxembourg when i was younger. didnt see much but motorways and 'smokeys cash and carry'

I bloody new you were going to say them!!

New years eve just gone I had a phone call from someone claiming to be from them, at 5am!! Said they had got my details from northumbria uni and wanted to offer me a job!! I thought it was a hoax so shouted down the phone!!

I still don;t know to this day if it was actually them, and how they got all my details!!

Fairly sure it wouldn't have been them at 5am on NYD.

Why cant you you say money? The main reason people apply for jobs is money so why not mention it. If you say you think the salary is good etc etc it makes it look like you wanna work there.

Because they want to see the creative answer people give, if you say money you are less likely to get the job over someone that rants about the companies policy on carbon emisions,

shows them you have researched the company.

Yeah true. Making it look like you've researched there company is one thing but also making yourself look like a complete bell end at the same isn't good.

If someone told me they wanted to work for a company because they had low carbon emissions I'd laugh in there face.
