    Anyone that weight trains

Do you get weird marks on the inside of your elbows, like on the crease on the inside of your arm? I keep getting these weird marks, similar to love bites or knips - red marks made of tiny specks. Im assuming its off training cos it seems to get worse after I do weights class. Its a bit emabrrassing cos I look like a druggie  How can I stop it? :(

I dont tend to use machines anymore. I use weights on a bar and dunbells. I do an hour class twice a week in which we do squats, bench press, back, triceps dips & extensions (I think that what they call them), bicep curls and shoulder press and raises. Just under 10 mins on each body part.

Then I do my own "routine" on my chest, biceps and triceps with the same bars/weights 2 other times a week.

I dont even do that heavy, 10kg on squats, chest and back, about 8kg on triceps and biceps and only about 5kg on shoulders, cos thats at the end and my arms are too tired

Have you come across it before, Ken?

I've never heard of this before.

I used to get a slight rash.. but I presumed that was something to do with sweat and constant moving.

Might just be the way your body reacts to intense training..

I used to get it - dont worry about it.

Its just extra blood flow to the bodypart your exercising - probably causing a bit more blood pressure and thats why your getting red dots / blotches.

Once your body is conditioned to it you'll stop getting them.

Nothing to worry about. Keep pumping that iron.

Yeah i used to get these on my shoulders off the leg press, its just blood vessels or summin, they go away, and after a while of exercising they wont appear any more.

The only marks i ever get are where the seam of my T shirt is pressed against the skin using machines and heavy weights, it leaves like a bruise for a couple of days.
By the end of the week you would think i'd been pinched all over
