i've created an image in photo shop, and i want to import it into the flash layer, thing is the image is mostly transparent, but when i import it the transparency turns to white, am i in the wrong file format, or can i remove the white surrounding the image in flash, i've tried the rubber tool in flash but it does rub out, but when i take my finger off the mouse button the white comes back again i think i'm just shit
You need to trace the image (trace bitmap command) then you can remove the background and then group the image back together.
cheers mate, i'll give that a try tbh i think the initial image is too complicated so i'll try a simpler image
You can reduce the detail in flash when you trace it. Read the help file attached to the trace bitmap window.
