Get AVG, better than norton, doesnt use up hardly any system resources, and i found it finds more virus's than norton somehow.

Also, its free.

doh am still stuck!

its a trojan horse virus that ive got it reckons but none of the virus programs can get shot of it!!

any ideas?

i jus ran the thing johns on about and it got rid of a trojan... u rebooted and tried to delete it yeh?

Is it the about:blank virus? that's quite a common one around at the minute.
If so, none of the spyware removers or antivirus can remove it.
the antivirus can see it but do nothing about it.
I've got a guide for getting rid of it if that's what it is?

If it keeps coming back it's cos there's 2 files with the virus, one is hidden and it keeps regenerating the non-hidden one even if you delete it.

Best for Windows is Tiny Personal Firewall....or if u want it a bit easier to configure...Norton Internet Security.....

Neither are 100% but they do best U can expect from windows!
