Anyone Help ?? With me having problems with me PC n that lately i think this has prob got summit to do with it. When i go to "Shut Down" the PC everything works ok and it goes thru its process - however instead of going onto standby and the LED's changing on the Keyboard / Monitor / Unit onto Orange or off (whatever they are) they instead all remain on Green and the PC seems as if it is still turned on :spangled: it is then that i have to turn it off which goes ok ! Does anyone know as to why me Pc might be doing this ? Have i deleted summit that i shouldnt ?? When i do turn it off i just leave the Monitor as that goes onto Standby Auto but as for ther rest im just clueless ! If anyone an help id be greatful bearing in mind this aint my PC and im hardly good @ the knowledge of it ! Cheers
Is it windows 98?, cos thats got known faults in the shutdown... can hang quite alot when trying to shut down, they brought a patch out to fix it, but doesnt always work
What kid said ... Microsoft realeased various shut down patches to resolve shutdown errors. Do a search for them Or if you wait tiill 2morro ive got them on my pc at work il mail them to ya
