    anyone have any tips?

    on how to remove motorbike oil from a carpet? its not a large stain, its right next to me front door on a cream carpet...:cry:

    ive got 2 days to get shot of it, before the parents get home, ive tryed everything, in the middle of looking on google at the min...

    oil wont come out best thing is not to get it on in the first place

    You need to soak the carpet, because oil floats on water so it'll rise to the top. Once you get it wet enough then dab it, dont rub or you'll rub it in deeper

    One of those carpet stain things might br a good start. Your gonna need some kind of detergent to dissolve the oil so you can mop it up.

    For you clever buggas, a didnt have the motorbike in me halfway

    It was parked on me drive, the oil came of the sole of a boot, that could be an idea taking up me carpet burnet carpet, even more stains on that..:lol:

    i left it soaking lastnite, managed to get me hands on one of them multi purpose stain remover lastnite.....so hopefully ill get the rest off tonight :p

    If you're bringing back boy racers/mechanics all the time you've got to expect to get grease on the carpet.
