The local government has ordered the closing of the discoteque Amnesia (for one month from next Tuesday) and nightclubs Bora Bora and DC10 (one month and two months, respectively, from next Monday) due to complaints lodged between 2005 and 2006 for tolerating the consumption and sale of drugs inside these establishments. Furthermore, each venue has to pay a fine of 6000 euros. The three closure orders are firm and should be executed immediately although they can be appealed.
