    Anyone going to Global this year?

    Anyone doing Global this year? Just booked up....hope the weathers ok!

    I'm going camping for the first time in my life! :eek: Any ideas on what i need to take, apart from the usual....tent, torch, chairs, wetwipes etc??

    Looking forward to it, since Wild In The Country was cancelled!

    If i was going I'd take a couple of pairs of wellies, waterproof socks, waterproof pants, waterproof jacket, waterproof hat, towels and a shit load of alcohol :) Just incase, you know.

    Put plastic bags round your feet and tie em up before you put them in your wellies. Will keep your socks/feet dry. I would invest in a travel lock or two aswell.

    This happened to me at Big Day Out.

    Inject loads of oranges/mandarins (or even a watermelon) with vodka/spirit of your choice.

    They aren't gonna take fruit from you, and not only will you get drunk, you will also have a healthy snack.

    Can you not even have it in your tent for the morning? I was gunna suggest taking planty non-alcoholic drinks for when you wake up (if you sleep of course)

    i'll be there, its all about the camping :D

    take hundreds of socks. and an inflatable chair - best thing since wet wipes at a festival

    bit peed off about the drinks this year though. they arnt selling crates anymore so its 3.50 a can!!
