Anyone Been To... Prague? Is it any good, fancy it for my 21st later this year. Suppose top be quality, always shit loads of people coming through the airport every Friday going over for the weekend, suppose to be like the dam but not as seedy!?! Cheers in advance.
I went 4 years ago. It's a decent city, but I could think of better places to go for my 21st. Beer is cheap, but it doesn't take all that long to explore the place. And it's nothing like Amsterdam.
Ave been twice now and thinking of going back this year for me b/day. I like it, first time i went i did and then couple of years ago i went on another stag do and was just as good if not better. When you get into the main bits its not as cheap as people make out but if you find shady back alley bars you pay less than a quid for a pint. The clubs were quality as well - Roxy which is like an old theatre or summit i think? Duplex which was on a fifth floor and u had to go up in lifts and one club on the banks of the river with about 5 floors.
I went to that duplex club, class club but the music was gash when I was there, they do occasionally get decent djs on though. The first night we went to the main bit which was all stag dos and hen dos and expensive english beer lol but the second night we went to the old town and drank in loads of traditional czech pubs, the beer was about a pound a pint there and fucking lush
Aye same here for Duplex, i seen some flyers or posters for the other nights there and we'd basically missed some decent nights. I dare say if that club was in the UK they'd have to watch the balcony bit overlooking the main street cos it would be like a free for all the states people get into over here

No idea, my dad went a couple of years ago but i doubt his opinion would mean anything. I hear it's cheap and there's a canny bit of slap available if you fancy parting with £30 or so
I enjoyed it, nice plays and good bars. I liked that 5 story club! Only annoying thing is the constant touts trying to get you into cabaret places (brothels)
I went in Sept '06 and really enjoyed it. Good for a cheap piss up, esp. if you drink the local beers etc. There's not a great deal to see but it'd easily fill a weekend.
