anybody goin to the republic tonight for halliwell and jfk? just wonderin if anyone else was goin for wot i thinx is a special one off 'blessed' nite...tis only £4 folks and for that super cool bargain price u get to see nick riley, jfk and the god himself, eddie play at the republic dont think a wednesday nite has ever sounded soooooo appealing!

sorry to rub in in but "fuck me!" ulot missed an amazin nite! i would go as far to say that its been better than the last couple of GC nites that have been on! was weird goin into the republic without the crasher decor and apart from the odd half cyber the place was literally cyberless! it didnt look bad though but i think even though everyone slates it n stuff it is cyber which gives crasher its look, however last nite i didnt miss the cyberness at all! nick riley played a crackin set follwed by JFK who was superb and then the god that is Halliwell came on and did his usual buisness and then nick riley came back on at the end to go back to back with halliwell playin trance classics! 7 cities and for an angel both got played! the atmosphere was spot on and unusually for a nite at the republic (for me anyhow) most people were pissed instead of being fucked, yet the atmosphere was superb! was a perfect way to combat the mid-week blues! glad its only on every so often though cos if it wernt, travellin down to sheffield would become an even more regular thing than it already is!
i think most tunes ever dreamed of were played....even the dawn, which due to bosh id started to hate, sounded class!!
