Any vegatarians here? I need to make taco's with Quorn mince

*Puts gay pink cooking apron on*

I'm gonna make taco's but instead of using beef mince, I'm using quorn mince. I've done it before, but adding the flavouring powder dries up the quorn and it's nasty compared to real beef. There's no getting round using quorn either cos my mam is a fucking vegetarian :(

Anyone have any tips on how I can make the quorn a bit less like cardboard? Adding water to the pan sounds obvious but I was hoping maybe someone knows how to make a sauce or something that won't make it too runny.

mix the flavouring powder in a bowl with water until its a paste, then add it to the quorn mince and stir, should stop it from drying out too much.

    Thanks!

*Oh, and it's hard to convince a vegetarian that her quorn stinks like dead cow ;)

I made them and did what Alun said, and also added some Jalepeno's and onions to the mix. It was bloody fantastic! :D
