    Any of you like karting?

Just as a matter of interest, how many of you would be up for a mini karting championship day type thing?

The Warden Law circuit in Sunderland is great, nice and long, and can cater for large groups.

The karts are 390cc Thundercats and can get up to speeds around 60mph!!

If any of you are interested, I think it would be a great laugh, and if we get a big group we can get the benefit of discounts etc.

Just an idea, would be a great day out!

Would cost around 40 notes each.

    15-30 Package:

"This is ideal for a group of 20 drivers or less. It consists of 15 minutes of timed practice followed by 30 minutes of racing.
A trophy is awarded to the winner."

    Take anybodys fancy?

These particular karts are, its a British Karting Championship outdoor circuit, not your average indoor job :D

Well if we can get an idea of numbers I will make some enquires etc and sort something at a time that suits everyone!

The indoor centre uses 270cc Karts, they are capable of around 45mph, you have an extra 120cc to play with on the Thunderkarts!

    Never been to indoor centre.

We've been to warden law outdoor a few times tho....their karts max out at around 40mph tho....

Their normal karts do anyway, not sure if they got any "special" ones u can use?

When was the last time you were there? Like i say, the 270cc go around 45, these are much better, competition standard karts.

My mate went on a group thing and they were told in the safety briefing that the karts could do 60.

Regardless of wether or not they do 60, it would still be good!

Each time we been now as well (about 3 times) they have told us that they top out at 40....which on a kart is VERY fast anyway...vroooooom :D

60 in a kart wud be SILLY - i wudnt dare

Its class fun tho....especially when its wet ;) :p

    Try 120mph karts mate

    I would crap myself.

My mate must have misheard in that case!

Still though, i'm suprised at that given the difference in power!
