Another virus thread But a differnet one this time! I don't think I have a virus, I think its some kind of spoof email that I am getting, but I keep getting postmaster "delivery failures" for emails that I have never sent, and they say "click here to view a log" which obviously I am not going to click on. Sometimes I get them from sites, and it says "a recent scan of an outgoing mail from you to <address> was found to contain the following virus: blah blah. And there is no attachments. I have all the latest updates for windows and norton, and no virii are being detected on scans....so what's the crack??
aye thats what I thought, but what about the ones that say they have detected a virus and contain no attachments?
junk. basically - along the line somewhere, someone will av sent an email with sum sorta virus attached - spoofed your address as the "source" so u get any replies to it... tis annoying, but harmless
iv had a few emails off people on here, had one off rachel_e_cook@hotmail.com which will be cookie i guess? and it said important! and a file to get which obv i wasnt goin to click, and a few others also, but aint had one in a couple of days
ahh ok i wont worry about that then! I have had a few from addys ending @technoorgasm.co.uk which contained viruses too!
