weve been talkin about this, at the mo i think foundation manages, but just for the future the club is becoming busier all the time, who knows if promise will outgrow it??! but if it does... worries is where it would move to!! cos its perfect for is to get to just now, although i suppose there alre loads who travel quite far to come, but i wouldnt be able to make it as often like!

Just never move somewhere to close to the sherman public.

If you do that sooner or later you will end up infested by them just like the Empire.

Foundation is one of the best clubs iv been too and when the sound system level are right (when there not its poor) the system is excellent, also one of the best.

Isn't Foundation the biggest club in Newcastle? Well, except Baja, but you can't exactly use that!

I know it has the best sound system in Newcastle. Some DJs have said the best in the country!

Saying as Foundation is Newcastle's main club for underground music. it'd be pretty stupid for Promise to move anywhere else just now. Who's to say what the future might hold tho?

The best venue/club in the north east it "The Palace" in Sunderland and its not even used!

i defo think foundation is the best venue, i love the club it'self not just promise, i have been to other clubs but i actually love foundation, no matter wot night it is!

People just stopped goin mate. Was a charver place and was just shit. The club its self is good definately just couldn't pull a crowd. Plus it was a little out of city centre and you had to get a taxi if i remember correctly. Was a good few year ago last time i was there tho.

The Palace would have been a wicked club if it didn't have the revolving dance floor!!!

One of the best things about Promise is the fact its in Foundation. Stupid to even think about ever moving it. Anyway i doubt Promise will outgrow Foundation. Shindig is rammed every week and i seriously doubt they are thinkin of movin. Foundation the venue helps to make both nights what they are.

Maybe it used to be Peter Reid's house.
