McGeady, 18, recently opted to play for the Republic of Ireland instead of Scotland, the country of his birth. He is a great player as well, poor Scotland.
He is indeed a great player but the respective f.a's shouldnt let people who are born in one country to play for another imo. Its happening and it can't be stopped unfortunately.

Not sure, I only speak for myself. Probably more important for Celtic fans at the moment is the fact that he has pledged not to do a Liam Miller. He looks a player and a half though, hope he fullfills his potential.

Well if he was approached by scotland he would probably have said no anyway. i dont understand why some players want to represent a country they know nothing about or have no involvement in.
