cool track mate, u could def do alot more with it though, if you put some multi band compression on the bass that will get rid of the boomyness on the last key change, have u got an updated version? x

also bud i think the u give the key change in the bass line away too early, would be better for that to start its full sequence in the 2nd section and in your first build it up with more percussion and fx, what sound better in the mix aswell so that the key changes arent clashing with the previous tune.

Should have a newer version done soon mate.

I'd already changed the bass - How it comes in.

As for the boomyness... Think I know what you mean but I think I've sorted that too. I had some compression on there and I just needed to reduce it.

Bit stuck at the minute... Not sure if I'm happy with the sound for the stabs. Also, can't find a sound I'm happy with for the lead melody I've added.

aye mate that happens, can be the cause of spending too much time on it, u get like a block, best thing i find is to start working ona new project, play around on a new synth or try making some new sounds in a completely fresh project, ul normally come up with a few ideas that will fit in that old track or u can use in future, always best to have some time away, maybe try getting a bit of inspiration by listening to some different styles of music usually helps me. xx

if ya dnt like the stabs mate, you shud try sticking some distortion, flanger, reverb fx over the tope and playing around with the parameters i have found these have really helped give my sounds more presence and help them sit in the arrangement alot better, itl be mainly trial and error, itl probs sound shit when you first put them on so just try changing all the parameters and fukn about, bouncing the stab down with fx and then layering it with the dry sound can sometimes sound cool aswell, you shud try that.
