Andrei Arshavin Player of the season this year i reckon. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgPkRViA1iI"]YouTube - Andrey Arshavin scores 2 in 3 minutes against Atletico Madrid[/ame] How the fuck did he manage to score his second though? Jesus christ the angle should be impossible to score from at the pace he was running?
great player and a fantastic buy for arsenal, but "player of the season"? your fucking mental thought right? its al about Nemanja Vidic for the season just gone
He's unreal & will rip the Premiership apart this season. Vidic is unreal too... BUT testing time for him is against Torres who completely dismantled him last season.
The 4-1 game @ Old Trafford - getting sent off was the easy way out! I think Arsenal might struggle this season - players have left & havent been replaced with any where near the same quality Arshavin will still be a one to watch like!
Adebayor is over rated and Toure hasn't been that good in previous seasons. People say City have bought two of their best players but i would disagree. They had already signed Vermulen and he'll play alongside Gallas but they do need more defensive cover and they don't need to replace Adebayor as they have loads of players who can play up top. van Persie, Eduardo, Arshavin, Walcott, Bendtner and Vela and there is talk of them being in for Chamakh. If they can use the money they have made to get a decent centre half maybe someone like Upson or Haangeland and add a steely centre mid to partner Fabregas they will be class. At the moment they are still looking good. For all the money Man City have spent they wont be top 4, They can't even score in pre season, and only managed a 1-1 draw with us yesterday.
He adapted instantly to the premier league like, I cant wait to see how he play next season, hes looking like a bargain for wenger.I think if he repllaces adebayor which shouldnt be that hard because hes not that good then Arsenal will do well this season.
I agreed Arsenal still have class in their side but squad depth is gonna be an issue. Even signing 2 players like you said, the squad is paper thin. Look at last season, youngsters on the bench & all the experienced players either playing or injured I reckon theyll need a few more signings on top of that, especially if Eboue does go aswell. As for Man City, the squad is massively top heavy with attacking players & I dont think Mark Hughes has anywhere near the managerial talent to keep all the players happy & deal with their ego's. Theyll take the piss out of him like Robinho did last season. I'd love them to fail
did ya see arshavin's 1st time pass wiv his like back to eduardo that went over the the rangers defender onto a 1-on-1 reminded me of myself in my hay day
