...and here's some I missed (part two?)

:) Well here you go everyone :) - Following on from my last mix that was only supposed to be about 20 minutes (...maybe not) I've compiled a few more classic tunes that I missed out. There's actually still a few hundred here to include and I might even do a Part 3 ... Let me know!

Anyway I just got my hands on the new DJM-800 today and the mix was a blatant excuse to try out the new hardware! I'm keeping hold of the DJM-600 for detox gigs but if you're looking for a new mixer, the 800 is an amazing piece of kit. Certainly pricey but worth it in my opinion (although the omission of the sampler function is a shame) :(

The last two tunes are all time favourites for me from one of the best german labels ever! Have a look back at your old tracks on Hooj Choons - see just how many were actually signed from Superstition.

    Feedback welcome :) Static :)

For now m8, agreed there is loads to play with on the djm800 but ive been pissing about with mine since its release last march and decided to add an efx 1000 to my setup as an xmas prezzie to myself lol , opens up a whole new world of possibilities , hours of fun !!!!

also ive noticed from your pic ur still using standard audio cables from the cdj's to the djm ?? Link them up digitally m8 , makes a world of difference !!!

Aye mate I certainly plan on getting some digi-cables - I already use them on the hammerfall sound card in my pc and know the difference :) Got the free flightcase with the mixer too so gonna keep that for gigging the djm600 round detox.

Oh yes what a tune mate - the last track is even better :)

I've got the Hooj Choons releases aswell as the superstition originals.
hooj disc1 - original mix, man with no name mix
hooj disc2 - tony de vit mix, tony de vit dub

I've also got two copies on superstition, one being the original and the other is a proggy style remix, can't remember who the remix artist is off the top of my head though.

both those 12inches are mine you muppet

dsic 1 was bought from hmv in 1996 and disc 2 was bought from old rpm when it was at eldon garden

Since you were at university learning how to mix chemicals for years you don't have a clue about even half of my vinyl collection.... tosser... :monkey:

£2.99 as well. I had it years ago when they did a sale on loads of Hooj stuff in the basement (when the place was loaded with vinyl), but lost it at some party a while back
