    Amiga emulators

i think i looked into this a while back but my incompetance stopped me pretty soon... basically i have loads of old amiga games i downloaded ages ago and would like to play a couple of them. especially 2 games, one called wizkid and the other called fire and ice.

are emulators easy to find and use and does anyone have any recommendations, tips, helpful hints?

    ta muchly :D

The best ones to use are WinUAE or WinFellow. They're free to download so just google them. I use both - you'll find that some games will work better on one than the other.

You can get games at - http://www.back2roots.org/Games/ - or by just using google.

That site also tells you how to set up the emulator so that the game runs at its best. You'll see a 'config' bit alongside every game and this relates to this - http://www.back2roots.org/Docs/Howtos/Configs/

So, for example, if the config for a particular game was 'ecs13' then you'd look at the config page and change the emulators settings to what it says in the ecs13 section.

You will need a kickRom to start any emulator and these are not supposed to be freely available. But if u can't find one anywhere, give me a shout.

Sorry if this doesn't make much sense but if you get stuck just let me know.
