    America on line

Was speaking to someone yesterday who has just had their laptop back after having the memory wiped and windows etc reinstalled. They were using AOL before this and the lad who did their laptop said that he found traces in the memory or whatever that AOL were looking through everything on the laptop :spangled:

Basically by being an AOL customer that gave the company access to everything on this person computer.

    Any heard of this before?

ermm... a bit vague... i dunno how 1) he's KNOW if AOL has been poking around or 2)why they'd want to poke around... well.. i've never heard of it anyways - he might have got the wrong end of the stick

AOL is shite anyways, takes over your machine - too intrusive. like norton.
