ambient and chillout i know this wont be to everyones taste but can anyone recommend any cds that are worth buying, cheers peeps
I had a few that I gave away after wondering why the fuck I bought CD's I owned for a year and never actually listened to!!
I've been listening to doggy style a lot recently, Q-burns is canny too, badmarsh and shri - signs is a really good album too, proper electro - not this electro house stuff - rother, mr velcro fastener, volsoc etc is quite good just to listen to in the house
Ulrich Schnauss - A Strangely Isolated Place Ulrich Schnauss - Far Away Trains Passing By those are imo the two best ambient cd's ever. cannot recommend them enough. everyone i have played them to has really liked them including my parents! and a few more that i also recommend : Global Communication - 76:14 Boards Of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children Boards Of Canada - Twoism Lost In Translation - OST
Yeah what he said ^ also add 1. Mr Projectile - Sinking (Album) 2. Biosphere 3. Pete Namlook 4. Lamb 5. Kruder and Dorfmeister 5. Four Tet 6. Peace Orchestra 7. some old AFX 8. Autechre 9. Plaid
what's everyone's #1 chillout tune? or one that made a mark? I remember the first time i heard Air - All i Need, it hit a spot but i dunno how. It was used as an outro in a movie made by an online gaming clan a few years ago and it kicked in after loads of shooting and loud fast-paced music. This tune always gets played when I'm on my own, coming down after a heavy night. I can't help thinking it's a bit poofy tho, but have a listen anyway if you haven't heard it
I can highly recommend these as well. Nobody's home on the 'Far away trains passing by' CD is the pick of the bunch
