Allen & Heath mixers 2 Mid EQ's ? How does that work :spangled: Im looking for a new toy, n i recon the Xone62 is one of the sexiest pieces of kit out there, just not sure why 2 mid eqs would be useful Any help would be muchly appreciated
Try one out for yourself, thats the best bet. Fukk knows why you would need two mid EQs, but i hardly ever touch the mid eqs (or any eqs) while im mixing anyway, so it doesnt make much difference to me.... they are pretty good, i just done like the feel of them.
Cheers, i use the EQs a lot when mixing (probs why im shite ) Ill defo be playing around with stuff before buying though
two EQ's= more control A+H's are more suited for DJ's that have styles that require long, smooth mixes such as prog dj's. Only prob with the 62 is that u cannot hear the EQ changes in the pfl.
mid controls The mixer was originaly designed for the studio, thus the 4 eq controls. you've gotta get it for the filter knob though, you can do some epic 4 min crazy mixes with that shit!
My allen&heath xone92 is my baby. Basically it gives you more control - I never used to touch the mid eq hardly, but since I've had this I use them all the time. Superb mixers by the way!
