    Album Art

    anyone know how i can get rid of album art files. its the files that accompany an mp3 when ripped from a cd.

    i cant find them in my files or folders, but according to my soalseek (similar to kazaa) i have over 500 and ther taking up space, i could use for sumthin else.

    Go to START

    'Search' or 'Find'....

    Enter the following in the 'find files or folders' box

    *.jpg, *.gif, *.bmp, *.art, *.img

    Select all your hard drives, and click the search button.

    That should find them :)

    Or they might even be in your recycle bin ;) They're still using space til you delete them.

    Bugger. Just learned that Windows can also have WMD files - whole packages with media & everything all wrapped up in one file - you might have a load of them. Search for *.wmd too. Didn't know about them til today.
