sometimes it takes a player a while to get used to a new league... look at juninho, angel etc. plus he's had injury problems.

then again he might just be shit!

he's in a shit team with no direction, grit or determination

plus he needs to beef up and gain his confidence back.

in those clips he is playing UP FRONT with a team who can clearly PASS and CROSS the ball

for the toon, he plays on the wing with a bunch of flidds

hope he ditches the celebration,,,thats if he ever scores

I haven't seen one glimmer from him to suggest he is even a half decent player. He was a panic and over priced buy who should never of been bought! Another right off, I'd rather have Carl Cort back

at the end of the day, thierry henry didnt dazzle from the off. we need to give people time...

he was fantastic at depor, i used to regularly buy him on champ / FM and that doesnt lie :p

give him time, let him adapt - given the opportunity i think he can be great - just as i believe kluivert could have been.

Juninho was a bad example to use IMO. He was awesome from his first game  Ripped Leeds to bits.

aye but his first season was shaky, his form dipped cos him and barmby didnt gel and he didnt have as much quality around him... in his second season he was the best player in the league bar none, zola won the award but he didnt deserve it

its a total differant league, the spanish leagues alot slower and when your on the ball have the time to turn and do what you want. At the moment he looks really sluggish, im not sure if thats because he isn't fully fit or the fact he can't be arsed, but at the minute hes done nothing :(

Juninho got the "Carling (sponsor) player of the year" I think. His goal against Chelsea at the Riverside was amazing. :D

look at rochemback... his quality isnt in doubt, he's proved that by excelling against boro and newcastle in the uefa cup while also getting capped for brazil. yet he looks like a pub player at the moment, sometimes players need time although thats not something newcastle and boro have.

luque is a good player but he has been injured is low on confidewnce playing in a team managed by a twat with no clue and he hasnt had a chance of a run of ganmes . Souness puts him in then leaves him out then hes in again the lad wont know what the hell is going on ! He will come good next season but only when souness leaves will we see the best of luque !
