    On Metro Radio this morning that Newcastle have more or less won the race to sign him! :)

    why striker after sstriker ok if martins or owen leave or both but staying it gives you

    I used to knock around with Andy Carroll & have heard hes on his last warning at the Toon due to gettin smashed at presentations and fighting in the town!

    Juventus are after martins, and it looks like owens out too for city, imo replacing them with lard viduka and smith is poor, maybe owen hasn't played much for us but he's fit now and would easily out perform them 2 signings.

    wouldnt put it past us we never give home grown talent a real chance i dont feel aprt ffrom when it is forced on to us i was impressed with what ive seen ffrom carrol tho especially when he cam on v chelsea

    Just said on the news newcastle & boro both say they've nearlly signed him & sunderland want him, knew I shudnt off started this speculation haha

    Carroll: Aint seen him properly. Cant give a fair comment.

    Not a prolific goal scorer but will complement Owen/Over 30 Martins canny well IMO

    Agreed thers nowt better than a team with a bit of bite to it! No nonsense footballers & for Andy he has great potential and his record for the reserves was second to none this season but when he was getting the odd 20 minutes here and there he didnt seem to settle very well but hope he is still in the running coz if he goes elsewhere it is our loss!
