Has anyone got any of the old original Afterdark Cd's that you used to buy for £6-7 back in the day? And if you have any chance of putting them up for download?

Nah it wasent mate, the blue Monkey come around not long after Bourbon street in the early 90's, the Afterdark sporned round about 95 - 96 in South Sheilds where its always been.

Quaysude 3 for a fiver it used to be

It was called Afterdark 2 when it re-opened after being forced to shut down due to the out of control drugs problem.

MC's certainly talk alot of shite like!

Not a fan of hardcore myself but it's a shame that its synonomous with total charvers taking 20 pills and attacking eachother with machetes.

I have been informed by a reliable source that the old afterdark building is now franks factory flooring

i used to be well into it a few years ago like (well.... about 8years come to think of it ) when i first got my decks used to buy hardcore and went to a few judgement days at the uni

its shite now tho, hear kids on buses listening to the same tunes that i used to listen to, and the clip of people that listen to it now doesnt even bear thinking about :spangled:

The kids who listened to it in our day were a clip aswell (i'm 21 so colo/early afterdark 2 days) but its ok cos afterdark and colo were cool .never was old enough to actually go though

Just like to add that the stuff they play at the monkey n hangar isnt really hardcore , its all that cheesy shite from spain they call 'Makina' if u wanna hear the difference between this pish and proper uk hardcore listen to a bonkers cd from about number 8 onwards , its a lot harder and trancier now with the odd bouncy cheeser thrown in tis class now.
