adobe premiere...

    adobe premiere...

    im doin a dvd @ the mo... need a bit of help on premiere tho...

    all my footage is shot now.. and ive taken it all into premiere... how do i save the assets as part of the movie?... i just tried and it didnt save em.. any help moochos appreciated as i have 48hr 2 edit this.. :D

    Assets? Do you mean as in titles/story boards/mattes etc? If you do, you simply save them as individual files.

    If you mean the whole project, all adobe does is simply save a project file which stores all information about cuts, edits in the sound/video etc.

    If you wanna save the whole film goto File/Export/Timeline/Movie and save it.

    Dunno if this is what you mean, if not explain a little more and ill try and help :)

    follow the help sheets on Blackboard if u do! they tell u everything!

    heres what i want 2 do...


    i have just imported all my video clips into premiere... and u know the clips that are in the 'bin' part.. how do i make sure i can use them next time i load premiere?

    in my lil magic office....
    just save the file. as long as you don't delete the clips it'll be fine or if the files are deleted when you load your project it will ask you where to find them.

    i did that.... but when it asked where the files were... they were on the camera and i dont have it anyomore.. is there anyway i can save the files to discc?

    yes you'll need to capture them first.

    file > capture

    ive captured them... i just wana know how to save em so that can use them again :)


    its probs not the best idea in teh world to teach urself premiere 2 days b4 dedline eh! :p

    took me a week just to get the basics and im doing help videos on it at the minute. Its a really cool program, just takes a while to get into . Premiere 6 available £5 copy :groovy:
