    Ableton

I know there are loads of threads on this already but i havn't been keeping up on whats new with it, and really can't be bothered to search through threads lol

Are there any mixers being developed for production similar to the one sasha uses? I really want to give it a go all of a sudden but would want more control over it than pre planning like some djs do :)

    cheers

It beat matches for you like but in turn that gives you more time/chance to mess on with fx etc, you can use up to four decks on it, also link up your mixer to it and also final scratch

Record straight off it aswell :D

    Quality bit of kit imo

There are quite a lot about- the behringer BCR2000 & BCF2000 are the ones that most people seem to use- I havea BCR and I'm saving for a BCF- They are only about £90-£150 each and more than do what you need- the BCR has got 24 dials and 22 buttons with 4 presets so 96 dials and 88 butons are available for use overall. Plus both feature total recall and are fully programmable.

The BCF has motorised faders and complements the BCR - I don't think a BCF would as good on it's own but together they work really well for ableton.

There's the new allen & heath xone 3d but that's well expensive and there's a few modular options about but they tend to be pretty pricey- they will be exactly as you want them though so it depends how much you have to spend.

When I was deciding which to buy, I found this forum pretty helpful- has many users on there who can speak from experience
