A PS3 or a 360?

I've been pondering over which console I'd like to get my hands on in the near future. I prefer racing/car games over most other types. FPS games I prefer to do on the pc although I'm pretty sure I heard you can use any mouse/keyboard with a PS3 so maybe that's a winner right there.

All my m8's have a 360 though and assure me I'd be better off getting one. However, Gran Turismo and the UFC game are the two that I want the most so atm the PS3 seems to have the edge. Only thing is, I've never played on a PS3 and when I seen a demo in Game for Sonic or something, the graphics looked terrible with jagged edges and whatnot.

Opinions?

360's are canny good but i bought a ps3 instead and its mint, the lineup coming out is class.

I love my 360 but if i was buying one now i think gran tourismo would prob swing it for me to get the ps3.

for game selection and live i think the xbox is the better choice

but for fancier hardware, bluray etc i think the ps3 is a good buy.

although its games library is crap. And waiting on a select couple of releases seems daft when the xbox already has a great number of mint games.

Sony will eventually sort the network out..

There is a new revision of the Xbox making its way out soon tho.. with a rumoured "quiet" DVD drive.. otherwise known as an inbuilt Blu-Ray Drive... Aparently..

i know ya cant beat a good mgs like.

i thought the 3rd was was poor though, the first one is still legendary though

i never played the 3rd one, daft as it sounds i never got to buying it. if res 5 goes back to its roots itle be shit hot, i wouldnt mind a silent hill game coming out or maybe a remake of the first one cos that was excellent
