AOl silver...all im doing is what it says, insert CD before anything else. i do this, theres the usual cd icon over the mouse pointer and the whirring of the cd loading, then jack shit happens, i think my pc is just a twat cos does it with most cd's but works again after several attempts...until this one.

    Try cleaning the cd.

Then if it still doesn't auto-load, goto my computer and see if there is a setup.exe or something on the cd..

its a common problem with AOL discs and pc's, your pc is trying to tell you that your about to make a really bad mistake by installing AOL shite onto it, it has your best interests at heart

    yak yak yak....

do you hate AOL cos of past experience or cos u think it's cool and geek like to hate them? ;)

i used aol unlimited 0800 dialup for years and they were excellent!

i wouldn't question using them again either - cos unlike most, i KNOW they are ok and couldn't give a damn what ppl think ;)

I was foolish enough to try a free trial

the software absolutley raped my pc and all the settings for the internet, deleted my other dial up connection, set its crap browser as default.

When i uninstalled it...nothing internet related would work

took ages on phone to £1 a minute tech support to sort it (i was like 12 at the time so didnt know any better)

    Never again
