    A decent hard drive?

My 40gb is pissing me off now and i want more space.

Anything around the 160gb mark will do me just fine. What drives do you recommend? I dont want to be paying loads as far as har drive prices go but I dont want A) A noisy piece of shit, or B) a slow as hell one.

    My motherboard accomodates:

    Serial ATA x 2, DMA/ATA-133 (Ultra) x 2

    Cheers!

oh you recommend that hard drive do you :p

I bought the one i have atm from there and i know it's all cheap but i was hoping for a recommendation before i buy. Everything i buy seems to be crappy unless i seek a recommendation first!

I have a Seagate in my xbox and it works a treat.

A word of warning about SATA drives though, I spoke to a bloke in a computer shop recently and he said he's had loads returned due to them failing.
On the flip side ive had a samsung SATA drive for a year now and its been no bother.

I think ebuyer are the cheapest by the way.

I bought a Toshiba 160gb external the other week ... £70 ... PC World are selling the 320gb external for something like £109. I've been extremely impressed with its quietness & speed.
