    5.1 for the home

My dad has asked me to find him a 5.1 setup for his TV. I have no idea how this stuff works. I have 5.1 in my room that I have connected to my tv through the red and white cables, and to my xbox with an optical lead. What/where shall I look for this? Ity's not an HD TV, although I doubt it matters. He says anything under £80 will be good.

    Chow!

you can pick them up relatively cheaply, my mam got a micro system stereo from argos last year (LG thing it was) and that had the 5.1 speakers and a DVD player in it - and it was about 75 quid odd if i remember correctly. it even had a cassette deck

No cassette deck here, but he just ordered a Philips 5.1 system with a dvd player/av receiver included for £90 on ebay :) Should be here soon.
