    .

there's a striker called ronaldo from brazil.

in 1994 he was 17 and went to the WC. didn't play a minute.

looks like the experience he gained from that tournement did him some good seen as he is now the all time top scorer in WC history.

walcott falls into a huge group of players who have gone to the WC and never played.

the experience he will have gained is priceless.

button it all of you, he will be a huge star in years to come

what a pile of horse shit.

by then ronaldo had scored many goals in the top division and had agreed a move to PSV and had nearly one years experience of playing international football.

Theo hasnt even a played a game.

The bookeys state its odds on he will never even feature in a England shirt ever. As they say, the bookeys arnt often wrong.

I agree it will be good experience for him but the fact he should have been coverd by the fact we should have had another striker there ! 4 wasnt enough and has left the question over wheather walcot should have gone or not more open to debate if hed gone as the fifth striker none of this talk of waist of time would be happening !

Especially when he felt the need to take three defensive midfielders when he didnt envisage a single DM in the starting 11 at the start of the WC

he picked the squad totally wrong to start with. then he changed his system and formation half way through and played players out of position the whole time. the whole thing was a total fuck up and the whole country could see it apart from him.

it was either poor preperation or like u said done on purpose
