First up we have DILLINJA, truly one of the pioneers of drum and bass and largely responsible for the modern sound of DnB. Dillinja has churned out so many classic tunes over the past ten years we simply haven’t got space to list them. He is also a prolific remixer and has been commissioned by David Bowie, Bjork, Faith No More, Soul II Soul and Basement Jaxx to give their tracks the trademark Dillinja sound. As a DJ he has played everywhere from Brazil to London to Japan and back – playing on Digital’s superb Funktion One sound system he will no doubt show us all why he’s called The Bass Destroyer… We also welcome SUB FOCUS to Turbulence for another visit. Having exploded onto the scene in the past couple of years with a flurry of media attention, Sub Focus has firmly positioned himself at the top of the drum & bass tree with every DJ from Andy C to Zane Lowe championing his music. Signed exclusively to the massive Ram Records, he is currently working on his new album and if his singles have been anything to go by, you better hold on to your hats! NOISIA have become somewhat of a phenomenon over the past couple of years. Bursting onto the scene with releases on a slur of top labels and collaborations with some of the scene’s biggest hitters they shot to the top in an unusually short space of time. Not wanting to restrict themselves to DnB the lads have also branched out into the breaks and house scenes releasing on the massive Passenger label and remixing for the Freestylers. Seemingly turning their hands to anything and having just mixed the latest Fabric Live CD, you’d be mad to pass up the opportunity to see them live! In the dubstep room we welcome Bristol based HEADHUNTER. Signed to the massive Tempa label alongside luminaries such as Skream & Benga, his unique style of techno fused dubstep has turned many a head and has seen him be a constant fixture on the dubstep DJ circuit. This will be his first time in Newcastle and he’ll be joining Nirz, Dynamix and Hadoshroom in the Heavyweight room! Resident support comes in the form of PHOBIA & SWITCH MC. This month's warmup slot goes to RUCKUZ.
