Almost a complete overhaul of the squad aswell which is defo what they needed. There was only a couple playing liverpool from the championship team we had 2 yr ago. :D

For once it's a bit exciting to be a Sunderland fan as you know we can acheive something rather than just yoyo up and down the 2 leagues.

If we can keep him fit, probably spend most the season with his leg in a cast

He will be good if he stays fit.
He always used to score against Newcastle. Let's hope he does the same for you guys.

If he stays fit and plays to his potential, Cisse will be a fucking legend at Sunderland.

Him and Jones will terrorise most defences when Jones is back as well. :D

I dunno if Jones is quite there yet as I've not seen him play a great deal.
I'll take your word for it.

Hes got the potential to be quality mate, he occasionally looks unplayable though needs to find the consistency.

Someone like Cisse who has won championships, champions league etc alongside him would help him immensely, theyre both quick and Jones can play as more of a targetman for Cisse to play off as well.

Cisse's career goal record is good too, 107 goals in 230 games. Wasnt he used more of a winger at Liverpool if i remember rightly? We need someone to lead the line and hopefully hes the one

He played as a striker most of the time for Liverpool to be honest.
It was only when he was playing off the bench as a sub when they were putting him on the wing which was building up to us getting rid of him.
He is good tho. Just watch his legs when you play Blackburn:D

I thought the same tbh, will be sad to see him go.

Without him scoring some very important goals last year we might not even still be in the Prem, rate him highly personally even if hes not in the same class as Jones, Cisse etc.
