    What's the crack? I've been given a timetable which is given till 12PM. What point in the day is this? It could be midnight or noon :s

    I feel like a 7 year old again :lol:

    12:00:01 is when it is officially either AM or PM i reckon, with 12:00:00 being either midnight or mid-day!!!

    Yes but some people are so stupid they don't know how to use a 24hr clock, which is why on all the bus/metro timetables there is a "Guide to reading a 24 hour clock" so that people know how to understand the timetables :lol: :rolleyes: sigh...!

    How do you decide which is which though? The points of 12 are just like spacers between AM and PM. Is midnight the start of the morning, or the end of the night?

    It's something to think about though :) And after reading a few things it appears that neither is 'correct', it's just what people generally use to make things like timetables easier (for people who can't understand 24 hour time evidently).
