    1 Megabit Broadband

    Dear oh dear, it's very fast :eek:

    Was £38.99 last week when I ordered it, and now it's only £29.99 :D

    Err....thats all really!

    Telewest upped my mate's broadband from 1MB to over 1.5MB for no extra cost, he's been downloading at almost 200Kb/s - :king: 's :D

    I want broadband... :( :cry:

    I rang up, they said my price was deffo £29.99 :D

    Not bad, twice as fast for 3 quid more than I Was paying....

    we upgraded ours 2 days before they decided to give everyone 50% more = 1.5 mbits!!

    even normal broadband seems frustratingly slow now, this really is the way forward!

    if u paid ya bill by d/d then you'd save an extra £1 a mth! :D

    for some silly reason bt have put 99 p's on to things...the bt bb 1 meg was £39 none d/d b4 last thurs! :confused:

    My Telewest is 750k at £25 per month. I download at about 100k in real terms. Really can't be bothered to change it though untill I move house as it does the buisness real fine at present:funky:

    lol, 56k just really doesnt cut it for home internet anymore, i reckon itll be phased out in the not to distant future.......its bloody shite.

    Thats not really my point juski -

    Lower speed/limted broadband is now coming down to the same prices that people will be paying for a 56k connection.

    I don't necessarly hammer the arse of all the file sharing networks all the time, but I want the speed to do so when I choose to, and also the bandwith do do several tings at once, which you simply cannot do on a 56k.

    I am now paying 3 quid more for 1megabit than I was paying for 512k.

    Broadband is becoming much more accessible to a far greater market, I used to pay £15.99 a month for BT anytime, you can now get limited 512k broadband for as little as £16.99.

    In this day of there being so much on the itnernet, music, instant messaging, browsing etc., a 56k connection just isnt enough to do all these things.
